ITS HUH Ministry (In the Streets-Hands Up High Ministry) home of Open Door Soup Kitchen and SAFE family shelter in Bastrop near Austin, TX. Here families have the ability to live together in an emergency shelter instead of splitting up during their times of hardship. They are able to save up to help move forward. An approximated 65% of the families move into their own residence after their temporary stay here. Our soup kitchen is open to the public, Monday - Friday, both to those with food and financial insecurities and those without, who just need a free hot meal.

Bastrop Homeless Shelter and Soup Kitchen Need Donations

We are open from 8:30am - 3:00pm Mon - Fri

We serve dine-in or to go meals for
Breakfast 9:00am-10:30am
and
Lunch 12:00am-2:00pm

We assist w/pantry foods on Thursdays only from 10:30 - 11:30am
